Etali Safari Lodge/Madikwe Game Reserve. The highlight of this exceptional lodge is undoubtedly its Wellness Centre. Here, a wide range of holistic therapies will rejuvenate and invigorate the mind, body and spirit.

There are only eight suites at Etali, set apart for total exclusivity and decorated with cool, earthy tones. Each suite's bathroom is designed to double up as an exquisite spa treatment room so that couples may enjoy spa packages in complete privacy. A whirlpool, available on each suite's deck is the perfect spot to laze in between treatments, and an outdoor shower allows guests to bathe in privacy while enjoying a view of antelopes or a fiery sunset. The cuisine at Etali is an exotic fusion of African and Asian. Organically-grown vegetables, fruit and herbs are staples, and the chef uses only the best local produce in season.

Should it appeal to take a few hours exploring beyond the lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve offer plenty to see. Designated a game reserve in 1991, Madikwe covers a pristine 75,000 hectares of wilderness and is one of the largest game reserves in South Africa.
