Mushara Lodge

Mushara Lodge l Etosha l Lounge

Mushara Lodge is situated a mere 8km outside the Etosha National Park, on the eastern side and provides the perfect base for visitors wanting to explore Etosha and its many wonders. Guests are thus offered the best of both worlds - the rugged beauty of the park plus a variety of excellent private accommodation - from exquisite luxury for private groups at the Villa Mushara to welcoming family chalets at the Mushara Lodge. Guests can now also take advantage of the newly constructed luxury tented accommodation at the Mushara Outpost, as well as the family-friendly Bush Camp.

Mushara Lodge features 10 comfortable chalets, positioned in a horseshoe shape around the sparkling pool. Most of the chalets have showers only, but 3 of them have a bath and shower. You’ll find amenities such as mosquito nets, minibars, air conditioning and in-room safes in all the rooms. Relax in the thatched main area, whether enjoying a refreshing drink at the bar, a sumptuous meal in the restaurant or relaxing in the lounge or library with a good book. Dinner and breakfast is included in your stay – morning and afternoon game drives into the park are offered at an additional charge – enjoy a sundowner drink as you watch the animals congregate at a local waterhole.

Mushara Outpost opened in 2008 and the great attention to detail is apparent in the interesting local prints on the walls, the exceptionally well stocked curio shop and the massive array of local literature and photographic collections. Outpost features 8 luxury tents constructed of wood and canvas.

The latest addition to the collection is Bush Camp, offering a basic but comfortable bush experience and is the perfect destination if you’re travelling with children. Children are welcomed with open arms and entertained with kiddies books and toys – child minders are always around to keep them busy! They can also enjoy digging in the sand pit or splashing around in the special kiddies pool. All of this while they experience the wonders of the African bush on guided walks or drives.
