Sarova Mara Game Camp

Sarova Mara l game drive

Sarova Mara Game Camp is situated in the Masai Mara Game Reserve and enjoys front row seats to nature’s most spectacular show: the annual wildebeest migration. The camp captures the true spirit of East Africa and is situated right in the path of the migration, meaning that the area immediately surrounding the camp teems with wildebeest, gazelle and zebra each year from around June to October.

Accommodation is offered in 73 spacious safari tents featuring double or twin beds, a writing desk and safari chairs. The Club tents are more luxurious than the Standard tents and offer unparalleled views of the Mara plains. They also feature private decks for game viewing or private dining. There are also 2 Family tents for families sharing with children.

Game drives are offered in the Masai Mara Game Reserve and your experienced guides will point out the wildlife in the area, notably cheetah, lion, buffalo, hippo, zebra and giraffe. Nature walks can also be enjoyed and focus on the topography of the area, as well as the fauna and flora found in the Mara. And then you have the option of doing a balloon safari: gently soar above the plains as the air currents take you, enjoy magical sunrises and view the animals from your unique position…

Sarova Mara Camp has its own vegetable and herb gardens, meaning only the freshest ingredients are used to prepare your meals. The Isokon Restaurant serves most of the meals and live cooking stations mean you can watch as the chefs prepare speciality meals. Enjoy a drink in the Oloip Bar next to the fireplace while the Ewaso Pool Bar serves refreshments as you relax by the pool. Champagne breakfasts, bush dinners and boma dinners are also available.
