Vakona Forest Lodge

Vakona Forest Lodge offers the best accommodation close to the Andasibe National Park (Perinet). Situated only 7 kms from the park entrance, there's 24 spacious en suite bungalows dotted around the grounds.

It can get quite cool at night, so the electric heaters and cosy blankets are welcome. The food is varied and delicious.

Swim in the large pool or play board games by the huge fireplace in the restaurant. If you're feeling active, hire mountain bikes and ride their horses. There's also a squash court and ping pong table!

The lodge organises excellent guiding to the park both by day and night - each offering very different wildlife experiences.
