Andasibe Mantadia National Park
Composed mainly of undisturbed tropical montane forest high in the moist central mountains of Madagascar, this newly expanded national park is one of the best places in Madagascar to track Indri Indri lemurs, chameleons and other weird and wonderful endemic species.

The park has knowledgeable guides, great accommodation at Vakona Forest Lodge, and access from the capital Antananarivo is easy. The mix of easy and more extended trails means the park will appeal to everyone.
Visit by night and by day, by foot or 4x4 - in each way the forest reveals its different personalities. On the road from the capital, take time to enjoy a guided walk through the Peyrieras Reptile and Insect Reserve and the stunning Orchid Garden at Andasibe Village.
