Melissa contacted Face Africa regarding an African trip of a lifetime – tracking mountain gorillas in Rwanda was the main aim of their holiday, but they wanted to combine this with a safari in Kenya. Ilze designed their dream itinerary: a mixture of food and culture in Kigali, sun bathing and relaxation in Gisenyi and gorilla tracking in Ruhengeri. This was followed by a 3 night fly-in safari to Kenya’s magical Masaai Mara.

‘I wanted to say a huge thank you for really making our trip truly spectacular.  It was definitely the trip of a lifetime.  There were no bad parts at all and everything fell into place, due to your great organisation.

The pre trip information and your willingness to make changes really helped the success of the trip. Your fast turnaround time on queries and attention to detail was great and very professional. Jarod, our guide in Rwanda, was truly superb and kept the program flexible so that we did make a couple of changes when we were there. I can't speak highly enough of him.

The clothes and pens and books for the kids were really appreciated – perhaps reiterate that to clients booking with you as we got a lot of joy from giving these out.  The people are very poor with only one set of clothes. Sometimes very hard to match this with our excesses in life!

I would definitely book through you again and there is no way we could have organised such a fantastic trip.  Thank you so much.  We were all really sad to leave.’
