Travel to the coastal town of Hermanus to spot the migrating Southern Right Whales. Day 1: Cape Town

Arriving on the overnight flight from London, you will collect your car and drive the short distance into town and to your guesthouse. Blackheath Lodge is situated in Green Point and enjoys magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for sundowners! The guest house is conveniently located within 5 minutes from the beaches, city centre and the V&A Waterfront.


Days 2-3: Cape Town
Days 2-3: Cape Town

Cape Town is continuously rated as one of the world's most beautiful cities and with good reason. The impressive backdrop of Table Mountain, The Cape of Good Hope and Robben Island - Nelson Mandela's prison for many years - these and many more attractions ensure busy days. The excellence of the local restaurants, great open-air nightclubs and the high standard of holiday accommodation all mean that visitors can enjoy the city in style. Two days to relax and explore!


Days 4-5: Franschhoek
Days 4-5: Franschhoek

Today you will leave Table Mountain behind and drive out into the winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Stop for a few wine tastings en route to your accommodation - a private cottage located on the vineyards of La Petite Ferme with wonderful views over the Franschhoek valley. The cottage has an en-suite bedroom, a small open-plan kitchen and lounge with open fireplace. Enjoy a barbeque on your veranda or make a splash in your private plunge pool.
