Gorilla Express

Mountain Gorilla | RwandaThe Gorilla Express is a short five day tour to see the Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda. This is suitable for those who are limited on time for their trip, or who are looking for a Gorilla add-on to an East African Safari.

The tour starts and finishes in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, which is accessible by air directly from Europe or East Africa.

This is a fully escorted tour which can be tailor-made to your requirements. You will be collected on arrival in Kigali and transferred to the base of the Volcanoes National Park. One or two days Gorilla Tracking is arranged for you. In addition to your time tracking Gorillas, you will be able to visit nearby community projects supprted by Face Africa. The kids at the orphanage are always overjoyed to meet new visitors, and there are options to visit a pygmy tribe, have a go at banana-leaf weaving or even brew banana beer!

A return to Kigali and a visit to the genocide memorial is a very moving experience. You will overnight in Kigali before departing for your onward flight.
