When Jo and Rich Rosenthal decided that the best way to enjoy their honeymoon was to invite a load of their family and friends along, I was dubious. When they decided that they wanted to camp and get up at the crack of dawn to go trekking in Rainforest, I thought they had gone mad. When they decided to do all of this in the framework of our Uganda Project Trip, I realised they were genius!

Not quite sure where to begin, so I think a quick run through of my daily trip highlights is probably the best course of action.

Day 1: Kampala

Being stuck in a traffic jam with the worlds most zealous roundabout preacher yelling at the girls that it is not too late, Will cracking the first Nile Special just before midday,Sophie and Jonathan arriving at the bar a little later than everyone else,Awesome food at Khana Kazana, despite Joseph obvious distaste,A Kampala Matatu surfing through a 4 foot wave to get us back to Red Chilli,

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Lucy sending Nick to do cook duty,Marks photo of Scotty catching a frisbee,Coaches Buckingham and Scott getting the rugby ball rolling with some of the local youngsters who demonstrated a natural talent for the game,The unsheathing of camera lenses on entering the park. Gina smiled casually as she withdrew paparazzi gear of pornographic proportion. The clear winner,First erection night. Pippa drilled a tent peg against a solid rock for 5 minutes, Gill took one of his knuckles off, and Rich decided to just grin and bear it. He was later to regret the decision to hide the tent around the corner on the hippo feeding grounds,The intrepid negotiating their way to the local watering hole for a few cold ones and a game of pool. Care was taken to avoid the feeding hippo on the way home, but a few hearts were racing.
